The Alto Hardshell Tent is designed in Colorado and manufactured at our factory overseas with high-quality raw materials, and careful attention to detail.
The Alto Mini comfortably sleeps two full grown adults and if you want a furry companion as well.
The Alto Elite spaciously fits 3-4 adults or two sprawled out individuals as comfortable as can be.
Built to Last
Most tents are made from polyester that restricts airflow and collects condensation. The Alto is designed with all the features and durability we've always wanted in our RTT's; it has breathable, water-resistant 600D oxford canvas. The thicker material, waterproof zippers, and rain fly keep you dry and stay quieter on windy days. Not to mention the only fold out tent with 360° windows, only possible with our patented bracket system.

This tent hosts a large door plus two large windows on each side along with a thin window near your head space. You'll notice a high grade telescopic ladder leads you past two shoe and accessory organization bags, and an LED Strip easily powered with a portable batttery or any USB. Once inside you will find even more LED lighting, organiziation pockets, and an incredible rain proof sky light.
Sleep under the night sky
We all know what the stars look like on a clear night. They are beautiful! This is especially true when camping. In fact, camping on the most comfortable memory foam mattress there is – away from the city lights – is exactly the kind of environment you need to see all the stars in the sky; our tent gives you extra light by day and a view of the stars by night. The canopy windows have two layers: an inner see-through vinyl mesh window, and an outer 600D oxford canvas window. They even roll up for extra ventilation. Every flap and awning rolls up and secures neatly out of the way whenever you choose.

I have had my Alto Elite for a few months no, I am extremely happy with my purchase. I can't believe how well the tent does in high winds (gusts were 25+ mph). Sure, you have wind noise but this is the quietest tents I have slept in (first RTT). I wish I made this investment a few years ago.

I received the tent, but it is stored away. I am working on customizing my truck andd fabricating a support for tent, thus, until then I will review and examine the tent and submit a creditable review. But, I am excited to do the forth mentioned

After three weeks of camping with our new Alto Elite I decided to leave a review. We had considered several different brands to upgrade our Clam Shell tent, but there was always something we didn’t like about the others. A friend of ours recommended looking at 4x4 Colorado and see what they offer. After searching the web site, YouTube videos, and reading reviews we called and spoke with Blaine and told him what we were looking for, what our vision was, what we planned on doing and he matched us up with the Alto Elite and I could not be happier with this decision. Here’s my pros and cons of this incredible roof top tent.
Pros: Mattress Comfort is really good
Insane amount of interior space
The tent stays warm at 20 degrees
Held up in a Severe Thunderstorm, 45-50 mph winds, heavy rain, no leaks and never felt like it was going to blow away.
Beautiful design
Storing the bedding inside.
Not everyone has one
Top quality materials nothing feels cheap about this tent
And the most important thing is the customer service. They are amazing.
Cons: ( the cons are my fault not the tent)
Do not put on a short bed rack like we do, we try to stay even with the cab so we have a 16 inch tall rack which doesn’t leave enough room to open either window, the rods hit the back of the cab and also the other is blocked by the awning. Like I said that’s our fault.
This tent is dark inside, I love waking up with the sun rise however in this tent you won’t know the sun is up because it’s so dark. (Not a con really, you’ll just miss some beautiful sunrises)
Honestly there have been zero issues with this tent, I can always find issues with stuff but I haven’t discovered anything I dislike about this incredible tent.
I would not hesitate buying this tent again, I truly feel this is the best tent on the market today.

Look No Further!
My wife and I spent months researching tents that would be best for our needs and family. We ended up seeing 4x4 Colorado for the first time in October of 23 at Expo East and they took the time to answer all of mine and the wifes questions and concerns. Solid customer service!
The quality is top tier and the ability to pretty much mount anything you want onto the shell with T-nuts is a HUGE bonus. This tent takes up pretty much my whole roof rack and having extra feature definitely helps! The tent fits our family of 4 with ease. I'd say look no further and get yourself a 4x4 Colorado tent.
